Happy 90th Birthday to the incredible Sir Christopher Frank Carandini Lee. A true fan of J.R.R Tolkien’s work, he is the only member of the cast to have actually met and spoken to the professor, and to have his blessing to star (albeit as Gandalf) in a film adaptation. He gave the role of Saruman the perfect intensity, and had the commanding, powerful voice that haunts us still.
Last year when i asked my ex to be my valentine.
On the day of valentines day my mom didn’t wake me up because she wanted me to stay home, i got so pissed so i got ready and checked what time the buses came. I waited 20 minutes for a bus in the freezing cold. When the bus came i rode the bus up to a place that sold roses near my junior high school, I got off the bus and bought 1 rose, I only bought one to show my one love for her. When i bought the rose i waited in the cold for 10 minutes for another bus, i was hugging the flower to make sure it didn’t die. When the bus came i rode it to my school, got off, and went straight for my locker. I took my coat off and went straight for the gym because she was there getting changed for practice. On the way there people were staring at me saying “aw” and “omg!” because of my shirt and the rose i was holding. I didn’t want to make a big commotion but people were staring, so when i got to the gym i waiting for her and held the rose to cover up the words on my shirt. When she got out i moved the rose away from my shirt and said, Will you be my valentine? infront of a few of her friends and she hugged me so tight and said “yes you loser :)”
